Steven graduated from USC with an M.A. from the School of Cinema/Television in 1994. While finishing his thesis project, Steven joined Dream Quest Images. In, 1999, the Walt Disney Corporation acquired Dream Quest Images. Steven continued on as a character animator and CG supervisor. He then joined Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow as Animation Director, where he helped Visual Effects Supervisor Darin Hollings and Director Kerry Conran build a digital studio for the film's production.

Jill moved to LA to pursue her love of film & music and started out in post-production audio mixing at POP Sound in Santa Monica. It was there that she met Mariah Carey, who offered her the unique opportunity to accompany her on a World Tour as her personal assistant. In 2002 Jill was the VFX coordinator on Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. She rejoined Unit Eleven during the post-production phase of The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
